Renee has been an avid cyclist for most of her life, and for years was curious about racing but had no idea how to get started. That changed one Saturday in 2009, when she crossed paths with Artemis’ Super Dave Osborne while out riding in Rock Creek Park. She loves racing and training with her Artemis teammates and has found being an Artemis member to be a great introduction to the diverse and enthusiastic cycling community in the DC area and beyond.
Renee has been a physical therapist in the DC metro area for seventeen years, and is the owner of Fundamental Motion Physical Therapy and Fundamental Velo Cycling-Specific Physical Therapy and Performance. She particularly enjoys working with cyclists to help keep them riding recreationally, competitively and pain-free. She blogs regularly on both cycling- and non-cycling health and performance topics on her websites, FundamentalVelo.com and FundamentalMotion.com.
